Chestnut no. 84 is powder of walnut shells, Logwood and Lawsonia Inermis, which are dried and crushed leaves from the henna bush.

Botanical hair dye colours, cares for, protects and adds fullness to the hair. The hair is left silky soft and shiny. The colour is gradually washed out, and the colouring takes place exclusively on the outermost layer of the hair shaft (cuticle). Using botanical hair colour to cover gray hair gives the best results, when the proportion of gray hair is below 30%.

Chestnut no. 84, Reddish Brown:

Can be used on light brown hair (with a stronger effect on lighter tones), even in the presence of gray hair (coloring time 40-60 min). By repeating the colour treatment, gray hair can be completely covered and it can create natural shades of copper brown tones. Intense copper brown shades are achieved on blonde hair (colouring time 30-60 min). Shiny effect on dark brown hair (colouring time 45-90 min).

We recommend that you do a color test before coloring your entire hair. Choose the lightest lock of hair, or where there is the most gray hair.

You can mix henna with other plant parts to change the color. The color becomes more intense if the hair is kept moist and warm while the henna is in. High heat also shortens the exposure time.

You can mix ZENZ henna hair color with:

Green tea - makes bright colors less yellow or red.
Black tea - enhances the brown pigments.
Black coffee - makes the color deeper.
Boiling water - makes the color intense.
Sour milk product (yogurt) - makes red colors lighter and more intense in the orange pigment.
ZENZ Oil Treatment - makes the henna easier to apply and wash out again and prevents the mixture from drying out while it works in the hair.

Using henna to cover gray hair does not give remarkable results if the proportion of gray hair is higher than 30%.
