HOW TO GET A HEALTHY AND WELL-GROOMED BEARD
Beards are lovely; however, they can also be quite difficult to take care of, maintain, and keep healthy. If you're someone with a beard and find yourself in doubt about how to take best care of it, you've come to the right place. Achieving the perfect beard requires more than just letting it grow—consistent care and the right products are essential.

BEFORE SHAVING
Cleanse your face well so that all the dirt is washed away. For instance you can use a homemade scrub with oil and sugar to remove dead skin cells and thus make your skin soft and ready for shaving. If you have more beard hairs than just stubble, we recommend washing your beard with Deep Wood Conditioner no. 08, which is anti-bacterial and has a warm scent of sandalwood, patchouli and myrrh. After washing, your beard will be silky soft and ready for a trim. After shaving, you can use a few drops of Oil Treatment Deep Wood no. 99 to add extra moisture to your beard and skin.
BEARD STYLING
For a healthy and well-groomed beard, we recommend that you use a few drops of Oil Treatment Deep Wood no. 99 in your beard every morning. If you prefer to style your beard you can also mix the oil with a little Styling Paste no. 06. These two products have a nourishing effect and will add a pleasant, subdued scent to your beard. If you have a longer beard, you can also blow-dry the beard with a brush. Before blow-drying, we recommend that you mix Conditioner no. 08 with the Deep Wood oil and a little Styling Paste no. 06 to make the beard extra soft and compliant.
AVOID SKIN IRRITATION WHEN SHAVING
If you suffer from skin irritation such as redness after shaving, we recommend a good face cream that helps to repair and restore the skin. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend our allergy-friendly Face Cream Pure no. 101. ZENZ Face Cream is certified by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Alternatively you can use Face Cream Deep Wood no. 100, which has a warm scent of wood, it instantly adds moisture and is extremely effective in restructuring, repairing and restoring the skin, as well as improve the skin's tone and elasticity.
