Ecocert cosmos organic
Ecocert COSMOS Organic is a globally recognized label for certified organic beauty products. COSMOS is a standard for organic and natural cosmetics. Ecocert is one of the four founding certification bodies behind this standard and is accredited to certify cosmetic products. COSMOS Organic is the highest level of certification within the COSMOS standard, and many ZENZ Organic Products carry this label.To obtain the Ecocert COSMOS Organic label, 95% of the product’s plant-based ingredients must be organic, and at least 20% of all ingredients must be organic (10% for rinse-off products).COSMOS (COSMetic Organic Standard) is a European standard for organically certified cosmetics, launched in 2011 and used in more than 70 countries. Behind COSMOS are five organic labeling organizations that have come together to create one unified organic label to help consumers in their search for certified organic cosmetics:
