THE STORY OF ZENZ ORGANIC PRODUCTS IS THE STORY OF THE HAIRDRESSER WHO CHANGED THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY

During her apprenticeship as a hairdresser, Anne-Sophie developed allergies to traditional chemical hair products.

In 1999, she opened Denmark's first green hairdressing salon under the name ZENZ Organic Hairdressing. At that time, the range of environmentally friendly hair products without harmful allergenic chemicals were extremely limited. For Anne-Sophie, this was not okay, and it became the start of a journey that has forever changed the beauty industry.

In 2005, she helped establish "Green Salon". A certification given to hairdressing salons using healthier products and actively working to reduce their environmental footprint.

The first ZENZ Organic products were launched in 2010 with certifications labels from AllergyCertified and The Nordic Swan label. It started as a small exclusive range of professional hairdressing products, but has since then grown to include everything from haircare, hair styling, henna hair colour to mineral makeup, organic oils, face creams and sun protections.

Today, ZENZ ApS is a global company represented in more than 20 countries and with own salons and franchise salons. ZENZ Organic Products has won numerous awards nationally and internationally and is available worldwide.

What we put in our hair and on our skin is absorbed into the body, just like what we eat. It makes no sense that beauty products contain allergenic, carcinogenic and environmentally harmful ingredients.

A lot has happened since Anne-Sophie started out as an entrepreneur. Though, it is still Anne-Sophie who, together with a large team of skilled hairdressers, develops ZENZ Organic Products. The requirements has never changed; ZENZ products must be professional and amazing - both to use and to look at, and they must exceed expectations and create enthusiasm for both hairdressers and consumers.
