ZENZ Organic Is Taking a Stand Against Animal Testing
PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, is world's largest animal rights organisation. With the PETA Cruelty-Free logo, they work against animal testing in the beauty industry - a practice that remains legal in some parts of the world.
Beauty companies that use the bunny logo from PETA Cruelty-Free have signed PETA's affidavit confirming that they are not testing ingredients, formulas or finished products on animals, and that they promise not to do so in the future.
The companies on PETA's Cruelty-Free list must ensure that no animal testing is performed by any party, in any country or under any circumstances for the licensed product. The same applies for the ingredients in the product.
Therefore, PETA Cruelty-Free does not allow any kind of testing on animals - nor in connection with tests under REACH, for products exported to China or in any other cases.
ZENZ Organic Products is certified as a cruelty-free brand by PETA and appears on PETA's list of companies that do not test on animals. We are also part of PETA's Beauty Without Bunnies program.
Why PETA Cruelty-Free is important to ZENZ Organic:
PETA is an internationally renowned organisation who, like ZENZ Organic, want to produce beauty products without harming animals. Because we sell our products to countries where it is still legal to test on animals, we believe it is necessary to make our position on animal testing visible.
